One affogato

I love these affogato photos by Josephine Rozman. Affogato is the greatest overlooked desert. Every cafe should have them on the menu, but few do. Right now we have apple crumble ice cream in our freezer….imagine that with espresso!

Not sure why this isn’t more popular in the U.S. It was a frequent treat in Spain, where they even had “Cafe con Helado” on the euro menu at McDonald’s !

  that totally makes sense! McDonalds soft ice cream would be perfect for that. It would sophisticate them if they offered it here too. Better email them.

Hi! I live in Vermont with my husband Joe and our four daughters: 11, 9, 6, and 3.

Writing on this blog is fluid. In an effort to just keep going I try to publish things before they feel ready or perfect, and I often come back and edit them again, later on. Its primary purpose is a way to engage with others on topics that otherwise swirl about in my mind in a lonely way. I spend most of my time homeschooling and learning alongside the girls.
