no matter who you are and how often you read, it would be enormously nice of you to fill out this little survey for me.  No name or email required.

Hi! I live in Vermont with my husband Joe and our four daughters: 11, 9, 6, and 3.

Writing on this blog is fluid. In an effort to just keep going I try to publish things before they feel ready or perfect, and I often come back and edit them again, later on. Its primary purpose is a way to engage with others on topics that otherwise swirl about in my mind in a lonely way. I spend most of my time homeschooling and learning alongside the girls. I grew up in Michigan and was homeschooled with my six siblings until I went to high school. I believe in God; our family attends a Mennonite church.

If you sign up for email updates you will get any new posts in your inbox the week they are posted, which is a good fit for an irregular writer like me. Sign up here!

*If anything here makes it appear that my life is clean and breezy--don't be fooled. I enjoy displaying things in a tidy way here, which is very much in contrast to my everyday life.

*I use Amazon affiliate links where possible. I like tracking clicks and at some point I might actually cover the cost of years of web hosting.
